We did a Kuoni (or rather their direct arm The Travel Collection) guided tour of Sri Lanka last year. There was a young chap on that trip - mid 20s' - a solo traveller and he had a great time.

I love Sri Lanka and will return!

We are also thinking about going to Cuba with Kuoni next year so would be interested in what others have to say.

Hi Corrine I have put the same message on the carribean board as well. It's hard to decide which one to go for first. In most ways Sri Lanka is winning but I want to get to Cuba before the Americans do!!

I have been to Sri Lanka twice with Kuoni (1 was their escorted tour) - i would certainly do it again. With Kuoni everything runs like clockwork. All the hotels are wonderful and a great cultural experience.
Sri Lanka is a beautiful country, the people are wonderful and they could probably do with a boost to tourism since the Tsunami.

Can't comment on Cuba as my husband is American which rules out Cuba as a holiday destination for us!! Have heard mixed reports and they could probably do with a boost to tourism too.
