Once you board your ship you should not require your passports for any of the Med locations. However, we do take a photocopy of the main, just in case.
Thanks Peter, yes I do take a passport photocopy generally whilst on holiday but probably on this occasion a good idea to carry it around whilst in the cruise ports.
If you intend buying items with a credit card the stores in some Countries ask for a passport.
