I have booked to go to the Mimosa Park Hotel at the end of April for a week on HB, was wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to upgrade when we get there?
Also any ideas on what the weather might be like.

Don't know Julie and can't see anything on their website but here is their email address:- res.mimosa@hihotels.net
I stayed there 3 years ago and some people upgraded from half board to A/I.
I think it was around 20 euro per adult per day and half price for children.
All persons in the room / party must upgrade and do it for the entire duration of your stay.
At the time it was not bad value, but you were getting around 1.40 euro for the pound then, so the cost was only around £14 per adult per day.
Unfortunately the pound and euro are near parity now.

I hope its all ok as well.

Just returned from Mimosa Park Hotel, it seems that they have just decorated all the rooms, couldn't see any other changes.

I have booked a holiday to the hotel mimosa park in palma Nova for August, could some one who has been there tell me if the rooms have hair dryers or do I need to take my own. I would also like to know if the room have fridges as well. I have heard mixed reports of the hotel saying it is used for stag and hen nights and this is worrying me as me and my husband want a nice hotel that caters for familes.
I was also wondering how long it takes on a bus to get to Palma, how much it costs and if the bus service isnt reliable how much would a taxi cost.
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure my husband has a good holiday as he has had a few family berevements.

Thanks Luci, maybe I should have insisted on a better hotel from the travel agents, I think we might have rushed it as it was a last minute decision. Oh well at least we will have the sunshine
hi bonnielass
stayed at the mimosa park in april, the rooms are basic but are very clean, fresh towels every day, you can hire hairdryers, fridges etc., from reception. i must admit that i went to menorca last year and stayed were there was hairdryers in the rooms but i ended up using my own as they are not very good. i am looking to book to go back to this hotel in september, we had a brilliant holiday when we were there. hope you both enjoy yourselves.

Thanks Julie Am,
I am really looking forward to the holiday, I will probably take my own hairdryer and just hire a fridge.
I will write a review on the holiday when I get back

Hi
Me and my husband went here 3 years ago and had a great time, and we have booked to back with our 2 year old son in September. Having read recent reviews I am a bit worried we are going to be surrounded by stag dos and hen parties! Is this hotel still family friendly? I am no party pooper, but I honestly can't remember it being that bad, is it really as bad as that now does anyone know?
Thanks!

We stayed here at the end of April this year, I can honestly say we had no problems with stag or hen parties. There was one incident on the Friday night/Saturday morning when the people across from us came back at 6am and were banging on the door, it stopped quite quickly but if it hadn't I would have phoned down to reception, after this we had no problems. Has I have said in my previous post I am looking to go back here in September.

Hi DeckchairLady
I am also going the first week in august, I have emailed them and asked for a "quiet room" if possible. someone has told me on another forum that they try and make sure that the stag/hen weekends dont disturb the rest of the guests. They try and avoid these kinds of "do`s" during their high season.

Thanks for the reply julie, bonnielass, that's good to know. It is a nice hotel, we are really looking forward to it!
