hi got back 2 weeks ago,wife wanted her engagement ring thickening (was wearing thin) and a bigger diamond put in place of the smaller one.when i got it back it looked good and she was happy.since getting back she noticed a lot of black coming off the ring and the colour of the ring changing somewhat duller! (the band part which we had thickened) took ot to jewelers to be told its not gold and no proper diamond in it either,its not a very expensive ring (certainly isnt now) but am gutted as its her engagement ring from 30 years ago.hes in for a shock though as i was considering going back in a couple of weeks if work was a little slack (which it is,suprise suprise,lol.now i am going back,any ideas how i should approach this situation,rather than going in all guns blazing !thanks.so be aware of mountain rock jewelers on titos road about 50 yards up on the right hand side
