There are no inclines in Icmeler at all the resort is flat. As for the Palm gardens, there is no problem with inclines there either, a ramp is provided leading from the restaurant/bar area down to the pool and you are only a short stroll to the resort centre.

Your friend will have no problems at the Palm Gardens, my mum uses an electric scooter and had no problems when we went in May. Has she booked a ground floor apartment? If not I would recommend she e mails Ali at the above address and request one, as I know he is usually fully booked and I would hate her to get there and not have a ground floor allocated to her. You'll have a great time, the apartments are really good. The location is superb but one warning, some of the kerbs around Icmeler are quite high and people have a habit of parking in front of the slopes, meaning you'll have search fo rthe next one along. Oh and some paths are narrow with palm trees, waste bins in the middle sometimes meaning access is difficult but all the turkish are so helpful you'll have no problems. I'm going to the Caribbean in September but really wish we were going to Icmeler instead.

Thanks for your replys, they are very helpful. I have e.mailed them to see when would be the best time to book a ground floor for eg 2 weeks before we are due to arrive. As we are not going until next year and first choice said "they cant guarantee we will get one". I havn't had a reply yet. Lynne

hi all i am going to turkey in july i have never been before i have always gone too spain but this year everyone has told me turkeyis great.i am going to icmeler to the palm gardens i am really excited can anyone tell me anything about the place or the apartments and if there is a waterpark near by.

hi have been their when it first opened and last year
it is very nice and clean the owners ali and seb are lovelly people it is just set back at the top of main drag
i can not fault it at all and not many people could because it was booked fully when i tried and most dates are full and only avaiable through first choice

Me and my partner are off to Palm Garden Aparments, Icmeler on June 3rd for one week.

Just wondering if anyone has any information or feedback on these apartments and the location.

Also is there lots to do in the day time as we're not the kind of people to sunbathe all day.

we have stayed there 4 times, and have enjoyed it, there is not much to do during the day, but its only a short walk into the centre of icmeler,

the pool is a good size, with water slides switched on twice during the day, they do some evening stuff, like barbecue night, ect

we are also in icmeler from the 4th june, but are staying at the moonlight this time, but may pop down to see the staff and say hi...

i am sure you will enjoy your holiday

we going to the moonlight as well from the 12th june did look at the palm gardens because it looked nice but couldnt find them to book as just apartments already had booked flights

Saw these when in Icmeler recently and wondered if anybody on here kmnows if you can book them direct... Tying to price up DIY or package for next Aug.

But think I have missed the cheapie flights now. :-(

these apartments can only be booked through firstchoice
so you will not find them any where esle.

Mmm... that's a blow! So are there only First Choice guests in them or other travel companies too do you know?

I am looking for an apartment to book for next August close to that location which would have been ideal. Do you know of anywhere that takes private bookings?
