similar quandry.....

we managed to get GOOD flights across to Ibiza for back end of July next year but can't decide where to go
We are a young couple (30's) with a 14 year old daughter - so we like it pretty lively...

looked at apartments and villas but the daughter likes the groups of like minded/aged people she meets when we stay in hotels

From what you both say, you could try anywhwere on the Bay side of San Antonio - plenty of Hotels/Apartments to chose from - Far enough away from main part of San An but plenty going on.

The Hotel Tanit just the other side of San An town (Cala Gracio) has a very good reputtion for an AI Hotel

Slightly less hectic but still with enough to keep yourself & youngsters interested try (my favourite) Es Cana.

we fly out of Leeds at 09:10 - fly back at 13:20 - so as you can see, good flight times

the flights cost us less than £270 (for all three of us) - so we can afford to spash out a wee bit on car hire and a nice place to stay

We are a bit like you we have been to the Mare nostrum for the last four years but this year we had a change and went to Benidorm liked it so much we booked a diy for october and have just come back. We are going to San Antonio Bay next year found it cheaper to do a package the flights worked out a bit more than we wanted to pay for a diy but there is some good prices it depends when you want to go. We are hoping that we will be able to catch a boat or bus just to go and have a look what the mare nostrum looks like now and spend a few hours or so in unos.

Hope you get to pop in to the Nare Nostrum, you wont be dissapointed.
