Well Louse - chatting to you made us think about going back and now we're doing it I know the world is a big place with lots pf places to visit but there is somthing special about Cyprus - and The Andreotis Apartments are so nice. We have even convinced my parents to come with us, they normaly holiday in Larnaca (they used to live there too)

Paula, Tassos and George make the holiday. They are so friendly - even though Paula supports the 'other' Edinburgh team

I know exactly what you mean about Cyprus been a special place, Fi Fi....... I would go back, and back, and BACK again!! ....... I've personally never liked the look of Larnaca........ I wonder what your parents will make of Protaras then....

Parents won't minde Protaras - they stayed there a couple of years back when my couson got married - stayed in The Brillkiant Aprtnemts then.

That's it - we're booked - fly on 20 August 2008, Maga, myself and parents staying at the Andreotis. Requested bungalow one with a pool view - I cannot wait - soemthing like 56 weeks to go

I am looking at these apartments for September. The quote I have from Thomas Cook is £910 for 2 weeks flying from Edinburgh. Is this a good deal?

We booked ours with Thomsons and are paying £1200 per couple (or somthing like that) inclusive of extra luggage alownace, meals, trasfers, insurance and waiver. 55 weeks to go...........................

i am seriously thinking about going to these apartment next sept 10th to 24th. a lot of people have raved about these apartments. i got a quote of £950 for 2 adults for 10th of sept to 24th sept next year. i thought this was excellent. i have never been to cyprus so i have a few quezzies!

how far is the beach from hotel ?
will it still be really hot and sunny this time of year ?
how far is the main strip for all restaurants and bars and are they at beggining or end of the strip?
Would £1200 be enough for 2 weeks self catering -

we would be buying breakfast things and lunch things from supermarket and eating out on a nightime. we are not really big drinkers and not into clubbing when on holiday. maybe just 1 excursion no waterparks. a few souveniers for friends and family.

are cigarettes widely available in all supermarkets etc and how much are they for 200?

Hello mel, we stayed at these apartments this year. They are about 5 minutes from the strip not sure if it is the beginning or end i know it is at Divas end if that is any help. The beach is also about a 5 minute walk away.
If you do go ask for a room in one of the bunglows these have a pool view. The apartments in the main building face a very busy main road.

Mel - I highly recommend. About 5 minutes form Fig Tree Bay, across the road and a short walk to the strip. Divas and Nicolas restuarants are both good, Should think it still to be pleasent in September, and I think £1200 for 2 is enough, especially if you aren;t plalning any extravagances.

The last time we went we had bruinch everyday in the hotel bar, this was huge and kept us going until tea time. There is also a big supermarket in Paralimni which a bus stops at, or you could hire a car. Was great for buying booze ciggies etc. Not sur eon prices as I don't smoke.

For your first time to Cyprus I don;t think you will be disspaointed with the Andreortis

hi just to let everyone know i am going to cyprus for the first time next year and i have booked the andreotis apartments after looking at reviews and recommendations on this site. i am really excited even though it is 13 months away 10th sept 08 to the 17th sept 08, just 1 week this year.
