how about trying pernera? there are lots of little coves there where the water isnt deep and is very warm we are going on 6th oct with our son who will be 9 months then. we loved it when we went the end of september two years ago as the sea was lovely and warm and we had one day out of seven where it rained and then it was only for two hours!

Have a look @ Coral Bay near to Paphos.

We take our little ones down to the beach there wher it is safe & secluded.

We have been in October but the water is still warm enough for paddling and the sand makes excellent castles!!!

Paphos town is a short drive / bus ride along the coast (20 mins).

Coral Bay itself has many shops & restaurants and the Paphos Region has many attractions & places of interest to keep all the family busy.
