Area wise, it's nice and quiet. I was there last night... and although there were a few people in the restaurants there wasn't any rowdiness. That end of town is very Playa Blanca-like.

many thanks for your reply elle. Because of problems with the flights(easyjet taking over GB airways) hubby and I have decided to go to Gran Canary instead, but will maybe try this area next year.
