Of course it's true, Snow is no stranger to Mallorca, two years ago in February in the Tramuntana area there was plenty of it, the Mallorcans build snowmen on the bonnetts of their cars. One new year in the same area people had to be airlifted out after heavy snow. I must add that this is a very remote mountainous area but great for walking.

February
We had a very cold snap a few days ago, and although it didn't snow at Sea level, there were pictures in the paper of snow on the mountains. That normally happens most years at altitude, but about 3 years ago we had snow in Magalluf and it was headline news in UK. Nothing like that this year.
As I write this the weather is sunny and warm, barely a cloud in the sky.
Fortunately, that's how the weather is here most of the year, so it's not news!
Cheers
