having been to both resorts a few times, this is my opinion on the difference

olu deniz the scenery is better, the lagoon area is fab and beats icmeler beach, olu is smaller and quieter less hassle but also less selection of bars, shops & restaurants etc but you do have hisaronu 5 mins on the dolmus to visit with more bars, shops etc. personally i prefer olu deniz but i do still like icmeler, i think it boils down to your preferences, what suits 1 family doesnt suit another, we prefer the quieter and more scenic places. good luck

thats up to you to decide a lot of hassle changing but might be worth it, olu is nearer to dalaman airport, but in the opposite direction to icmeler so could take up to 2 - 3 hrs to get from 1 resort to the other depending on traffic, let us know what you decide
