Considering the Algarve in January - we have been before but not for a few years.
Where would be the best place to stay - prefer a hotel as it can be chilly in an apartment in the winter months. We try to get a sea view if possible.
Have looked at the Porto Bay Falesia (formerly Riu) but the reviews are a bit mixed.
Any suggestions please?
Pippa
We've stayed in the Sol e Mar - rooms and hotel clean etc. We were B&B which wasn't anything to write home about. But the major plus point is the view from the rooms. Right on the beach and every room has a sea view.
Another hotel that is by the beach and gets really good reviews (again in Albufeira old town) - the Rocamar.
