Sorry to disappoint, but they are no cheaper in Bulgaria, than the UK. In fact with the poor exchange rate this year they could work out more expensive. Also there are a lot of copied electrical goods like ipods, mp3 players etc, so make sure you know what you are buying.

You will find prices for electrical goods at a large Bulgarian retailer (similar to Comet/Currys, etc.) here - the listed items are MP3 players.

VAT is 20% in Bulgaria, so many imported items cost more than they do here.
