Lagos station is across the river from the main part of town, next to the Marina.

It's about 5 minutes walk from the town across the pedestrian bridge.

Which lifts up when boats enter or leave, as it did yesterday afternoon as I was going to catch my train back to Albufeira! Made it though.

You can easily get to Sagres, Portimao, Alvor, Silves, Salema, Faro even up into the hills to Aljezur. A bit of real Portugal up there.
