Are spirtis and alcohol readily available in the supermarkets? Not that I am an alcoholic but we will be staying in timeshare accommodation at Kikambala (Royal Reserve Beach Club) and it is quite isolated.
We have been to Kenya before, but about 14 years' ago and I seem to remember that the drinks were expensive then. The tonic for the gin had a bitter taste and I was told at the time that it contained additives that had been banned in the UK. Obviously, this may well have changed since that time.
we are returning for our 4th trip in January. You will be able to get champagne at the airport or at the Nakamat supermarket. RR run a free transport service there once a week on a Sunday, or you can hire a driver to take you at your own specific time, its only a few hundred shillings.
