More changes!

I have today received notification from Thomas Cook that I am now flying with Iberworld (spanish company). My seat pitch has changed from 33 to 31 inches

however, my flight number and timings remain the same. (thank goodness)

I fly on November 22nd from LGW - has anyone else had a letter? And does anyone know anything about Iberworld, I think they are part of Iberia

What are they like to travel with? Maybe we will get paella for dinner

(that would make a nice change)

Not heard anything and we fly 2 weeks after you from Gatwick, infact only just had tickets

Yes I googled their website but after I had clicked translate to English it wouldn't let me check out their drop down menus :que

kept coming up that I couldn't get it on my server. I am not really bothered about the change as it doesn't effect the departure date or times, but I hope they are a decent company to fly with. TBH I had never heard of them :think

Just hope that no further changes occur as I MUST fly on the Saturday as I'm attending a wedding on the Monday......I have got everything crossed now :rofl

Just wish they wouldn't do these things a week before flying as it is unnerving.

Having now had a look around the web it seems that these Iberworld flights are not all that popular.

If you are on this one, and you have paid for premium upgrade, check it out because I don't think its available with them. I'll happily stand corrected if I have got this wrong. Fizz

sounds like there ripping customers off to me and using budget airlines to try and recoup losses due to fuel and the financial climate surely this cant be legal after the advertising campaigns they have done regarding legroom etc etc :think

I agree totally, we have paid for something we are not getting........again. Anyhow, I got a fairly good price and as long as I get there in time for that flippin wedding I'll be happy. If there are hold ups outbound/inbound as long as they aren't too bad (outbound) I will just put up with it......but of course they know thats what most of us will do. Hold ups coming home, well I can live with that...just :wave:

if you check on gatwick arrivals you will find iderworld are never on time and todays flight from goa should have arrived at 21.00 is now expected at 00.35 and that is going via turkey.. so that says it all,

So now it's encouraging birds to flock in the area round the airport by drying fish, very Goan. I'm begining to think a medal should be awarded to all who make the journey to Goa, especially all those getting messed around on charter flights. Thank goodness I've given up on them years ago, I actually look forward to our Emirates flights from Glagow to Mumbai. Alan

Hi everyone, TCX have chartered Iberworld to operate on some of their longhaul routes as we have an A330 stuck in the middle east on an extended maintenace check. It's nothing to do with fuel prices etc. Not sure if there is no premium section, but something Ive heard is that there isn't, and you should be eligble for a refund for that part of your journey...I think writing in and supplying your boarding car would suffice.
I know this as I do work for TCX...

We were flown back from Kos by TCX when XL went bust. the airline they used was EURO ATLANTIC.no i'd never heard of them either.they are a porugese airline, i have only one word for them "FANTASTIC". good comfortable aircraft, good inflight meal, great freindly service from the flight crew, all in all, a very nice experience. :tup

the point i'm making is, just because its a foreign airline, its not necessarily a bad one!!! :fly

your possibly right but if there moving the goalposts and your not getting what you should be getting as in extra legroom etc etc (many people fly with certain airlines for these things) or dont fly with certain ones (monarch) ! then you should be intitled to a rebate or something

You probably will get a refund for whatever you don't receive, however I wouldn't be too upset about it, afterall it's your holiday.

Does anyone know if this was a one off, or if it is ongoing? Due to fly on 6th December from Gatwick, and have only just paid the extra £60 to book our seats.

We fly out of Gatwick on the 6th too and not heard anything about changes to who is operating the flight
