thanks Glynis !
i went there about 10 years ago!
nothing special but not truly bad.
down the beach road opposite the old daytrippers hut between candolim and calangute.
probably wouldnt bother again unless the price was very competitive.

I'm staying at Jay's Place just across the road from Ondas do Mar, I believe I have the use of their pool while I'm there, If I do I'll let you know what it's like from what I can see... ( I will be back on 29th March, depending on internet access I will try to update sooner if I can)
thanks grimreaper.i was looking at 28th march.it does have some good reviews on tripadvisor.
Well I have just got back from my two weeks in Goa, I did visit the Ondas to use the pool on one day, first impressions are that the pool is okay, but the rooms looked a bit downmarket and dark inside, I get the impression that if there was anything going on in one of the rooms it would be audible for the others as they all seem to be around the pool.
There were lots of comings and goings at night, loud bikes and a squeaky gate, the hotel dog barks a lot as well.
As an addendum, I heard from my taxi driver that there had been some burglaries in the ondas recently, , and cameras were stolen from a few people (the room boys were discounted as the rooms had not been cleaned, and in a police line up they all came out clean) one camera was subsequently left hanging on the gatepost after it was reported to the hotel staff.
