If Benaulim is far enough south for you, Blue Corner is in a nice quiet position, on the beach although it says Colva on the site, it's much closer to Benaulim village. I had a look around and found it neat and tidy. http://www.blue-corner-goa.com/

Not the cheapest place around Elephant, but we had a brilliant stay here.

We've just provisionally booked Dwarka for a night in January. Not the cheapest but they do look nice.

I checked different places and was confused. Based on information I got from you there was suddenly many possibilities. I was confused, my wife was not - she looked once at Dwarka webpage and futher was just technical matter. We made a prepayment and booked the cottage.

The climate here in Estonia does everything to get us away from here. Nasty weather ... +3 deg.C and raining with heavy wind. Cant wait ... I have not been in India on Christmas time and New Years Eve for a long time. Last time was 1969 we are leaving 23'rd of Dec and will come back 13'th of January. I hope that at this time there is nice cold winter with lots of snow (you can dream, dont you?... actually there will be even colder rain and wind probably)
