Has any body done this trip by rail. We are traveling to Bangalor on the 8th December and was wondering about fares and time table.

We did the trip a few years ago, as I remember the train left from vasco about 7.00pm and you got into Bangalore about 10.00am next day We went 2nd class a.c. and it was a lot of fun. Cant help you with the cost but it's not much.

Hi i haven't done this trip but you can and must book in advance for long journey trains in India try http://www.cleartrip.com or http://www.makemytrip.com I've looked for you and the 2ac which are the best seats are £13 each you'll get your e tickets so just print them out and save
no probs, trains are not to bad at all once you book which should be asap let me know and ill give you more advice
