We got back early hours of yesterday - resort is still very busy tho' we found the promenade quieter after about 10.30pm at night and very little movement after 11pm. We stayed in a private apartment sandwiched between Bonamar and Marins Playa Suites (formerly Hotel Temi) so could see up towards the Atolon and down to Yates'.
Bars did seem a lot quieter to how they've been in the past and general opinion from bar owners seems to be that the all inclusive hotels have killed business, seems to be more competitiveness and 'offers'.
Any specific questions, feel free to ask! I want to be back there right now!

Me too Tis, though, sadly after 27th of October, there will be no more, for me and Bev, we are moving on. The road train no longer goes there, the London Inn is closing, the Hotel Cala Bona, is undergoing restoration work (which might take 2 years).
Dave, and Doreen, might be moving back to England, we are so sorry, we thought it would continue for many years. Like so many other busineses there, they have struggled, this year, with so many people, booking AI. Just not enough brits spending money, hey Dave and Doreen, have been there for 23 years, two years in Cala Bona, and 21, where they are now. We are going to Santa Ponsa, next year, not far from the square, at least we will see all the acts, lol.

Garry, admittedly didn't see the land train this year - probably becos' of the new one way system) but we used the Aumasa city bus (open top) to get between Cala Bona and Sa Coma without any problem at all and it was only €1.65 each way per person which I didn't think was too bad at all. Sat on the open top, kids actually preferred it to the land train.
We're going back next year afterall......weighing up the cost of caravan holiday in UK and our fave resort....there was no contest, can't wait to be back and kids are already counting down till they see Eileen & Pedro and Kev and the gang in CHEERS.
