You need to look at hotels in the Nabq area. The Holiday Village, the Coral Sea Resort, the Jaz hotels, the tropicana grand azure, the oriental, the laguna vista resort etc

The mid section between Namma Bay and Nabq, ie around sharks bay etc all have terraces cut into the rocks for sunbathing on.

Namma Bay also has a beach, but it's a bit small and crowded and has dive boats going off from it.

Also Ras Nosrani bay has a lovely beach with lovely shallow water for quite a few yards before reaching the reef, have a look at the new Thompson Sensatori or the Baron hotels.

We went to Fort Arabesque, Mikadi Bay, Hurghada earlier on in the year and the beach was fab. As you looked at the sea from the hotel, the right hand side was the best, near the SAGA part!
