Arrived at Rhodes airport to get my Easyjet flight back to Liverpool. Aargh, Easyjet cancelled their flights back to U.K. because of the Greek air traffic control strike.No problem said the girl at the Swissport desk. We will transfer you to the next flight free of charge.Trouble was the next flight will be May 18th.!!! Quie a few of us were able to buy seats on a Thomas Cook flight to Manchester but Easyjet's attitude left a lot to be desired.

Sorry to read of your problem.The strike had been known about for weeks.Easyjet had information on their web site
I dont know why they cancelled flights due to a 4 hour strike.Other carriers only had delays

I thought Easyjet had to provide accommodation if they cancelled your flight? Still not ideal if you've got to get home I guess - glad you got something sorted.

I was just ready to get home Marcus and the Greek girls at the Swissport desk were so uninterested.Hope you have a great holiday (sure you will) and no ATC strikes.
