We'll be based in Calete de Fuste in October, couple with 16 yo boy.
We'll probably got to Corralejo and possibly Jandia but are there any nice towns or attractions to visit. We're old hands at Lanzarote but have seen all the sites and towns there, we're looking for something new.
Theres a lovely village on the West coast called El Cortilla.
It has lovely sandy beaches with lagoons and a lighthouse.
If you are there at sunset you get spectacular skies.
We went by bus from Corralejco and it took about 15minutes.

Thanks Jay, sounds just what I'm looking for. 
Get a copy of Noel Rochford's Sunflower guide to Fuerteventura costs about a tenner from your local W H Smith it has loads of info on Fuerte and some on Lanzarote. It contains photos maps and suggested walking and driving tours enjoy.
