I have also noticed how quiet the forum has been this year. Is it possible that due to there being so much information on here people do not need to ask as many questions now, or is it that not as many people are planning on travelling to Goa this season?
I guess your right with both answers. Quite a few names not been seen on here for a few years and many that I have bumped into around Goa, especially at Ganesh shack and the HT meets.
I haven't come on here as much this season although I do browse from time to time just to see what the latest news is and to keep up to date.
I really didn't think we were going to return this season so I didn't want to get too miserable reading the "who's going to be at the carvery", "how many sleeps" or "my holiday report" threads - I just knew it would depress me seeing everyone making their Goa holiday plans or reading about everyone's fab time
After receiving a 50th birthday celebration invite and a lot of soul searching we have now booked to return and arrive 22nd January, (sadly only for 2 weeks but better than nothing) so when I have worked out how many sleeps til we go and when we will be at the Carvery Meets - I shall be posting along with all our other HT returnees - with a great big smile on my face

I am the first to hold my hands up and admit I am not in here as much nowadays.
I think most of my questions have been answered and we have been so many times that we know what we are doing and where we are going nowadays. I know newbies like to ask questions (cos I was a newbie on here myself at one time) but I get a bit fed up going over the same questions time after time ... sorry but thats how I feel.
One thing I can say is ive met some wonderful people thru HT. People I will always keep in contact with now, even if I didnt return to Goa or post on HT every again. That side of things is wonderful.
