The rate went to 101.10 for a £1 but has dropped back a bit now to around the 100.50 however I can't see that this can last, the government will have to do more to support the rupee as the Indian stock market is now in melt down due to foreign money been pulled out, £7.4 bn since June

Possibly because the world financial community has finally realised the "economic miracle that is India" consists mainly of "smoke and mirrors" and never had any real substance.

Personally, I'm amazed they got away with it for so long and expect the rupee to fall a lot further yet.

has anyone used the icici prepaid bank card.just been on their website and they are giving 97.6 rate.
not going till end of december so i thought i may get one while the rates so good.looks a bit of a pain applying for one though,a bit like the visa thanks andy
