A few friends of mine are going to visit me in Leipzig, Germany, and asked me what would be the cheapest way to get a ticket. They won't travel with heavy luggage, just a few things for a long weekend in late may. Any of you got an idea?

Ryanair fly from Stansted to Leipzig. I think 5 days per week.
Thanks, but where would I book it to get the best prices? I mean there's a ton of sites like fly.co.uk and others, or would I book it directly via Ryanair? What are your experiences regarding this?
Book directly with Ryanair, there is no benefit to be gained by booking through an agency, which offiicially Ryanair don't allow.

I also always go with Ryanair and book on their website directly if possible. You just have to obey their rules otherwise it may get a little expensive :).
I also consider Ryanair to offer the cheapest possibility to travel to germany. But if you book via ryanair you should think about taking an external insurance, because i made bad experience with travel insurance from ryanair. This is just not the market of this airline.
Sandyme although this topic is almost one year old can you tell us what the problem was.
