Hi,

Salou as a resort is nice as far as i'm concerned. It's got average nightlife that allows you to choose whether you want a quiet night or a lively night. It can get busy in the summer months but nowhere near as busy as places like benidorm.

There's a nice beach, and the locals seem very friendly.

Barcelona is only an hour away on the very cheap trains (9 euros return). Obviously fantastic for shopping.

It all depends on the kind of job you've been offered really.
