What to suggest depends on the length of flight you prefer and what type of holiday and price you are prepared to pay. Personally, we prefer the Caribbean or Mexico but that may be too far for only a week. What do you look for in a holiday?

Thanks for your reply. Weve just returned from a 5star luxury break in cuba and had a great time.We dont want such a long flight as we are only having a weeks holiday.We are just looking to chill out somewhere warm and sunny.

If you don't want long haul - Cyprus will be warm in October. Not sure if it'll be worth doing AI though as we found it pretty cheap to eat out when we were there 3 years ago.

We have had several good AI holidays in Turkey in late Sept Oct. I would suggest you look for bargains using Antalya airport resorts such as Kemer, Side or Alanya. I loved Cuba last year and return for 14days this Sept. I would advise that Turkish 5* AI hotels have very good discounts end of season.

Going to Cyprus for very same reason next week (weather) - Odessa Hotel (all inclusive), went to Turkey last year and the weather was absolutely fab, but not all inclusive though.

I would agree with puddleduck2, Cyprus would be a good choice, not to long a flight but with good weather.
