Hi. The last time we flew into Athens for a 2 centre holiday to Spetse and Poros, we had the misfortune to arrive around midnight/1 am. We sat in a taverna until the early hours then at the harbour until the ferries started running (I think the first ferry was about 8 am). It's about 14 years since we did Spetse/Poros so someone else might be able to give you more up to date information. We loved Poros but have never got round to going back. Have a great time.

This link will give you the sailing times for summer just past. It may give you an idea of times, but it seems there is no late night ferry

Thanks very much for your replys. I kind of knew it would be a "No No" with the Ferries.
I'v arranged for a friend of a friend to come and pick us up at the airport, then drive to Poros it'll take about 2hours. I did have a look at the prices of some hotels in Athens but they all appear to be way beyond our budget. Thanks again

Are you talking about the Island of Poros or is there somewhere else with the same name? If so, how are you going to make the last 500 metres over the sea from the mainland to the island when the water taxis will be locked up for the night and will not be operating until about 9 in the morning? Also, I would say that Poros was more like a 5 or 6 hour drive from Athens and not two. It's nigh on 2 hours to Corinth and you are travelling at least double that distance and more!

Personally, I would find a nice spot in the airport for a few hours for a rest or leave your luggage at the airport and go clubbing! You can always catch up on sleep the next night.
