any ides on price in taxi or best way in general to do this journey - just had a look on map and it seems alot further than say calangoute to mandrem

Yeh its a lot further than Mandrem. It will take you between 2 hrs in a taxi depending on the time of day. Return same day will cost you about £15 - £18, return on another day about £25 -£28. ( if I remember right )

I was thinking of doing the same journey and staying for a couple of days. Is it best to get a taxi back from Palolem or ask the taxi driver to come back for you?
Usually your taxi driver will give you a better price for doing both journey's, just remember to take his mobile number so you can change your pick up date if you want to.

thank you. Is it best to buy a sim in goa and just swap it over? ( i don't have a spare phone)
Go by bus! Bus to Panjim. Then bus to Margao. Then bus to Palolem.
I would but i get travel sick on buses if over an hour. thought i'd have grown out of it at my age
