Hi
As we are about to embark on our first visit to Goa and are not sure what to expect in hotels, can anyone tell me if hairdryers are normally fixed into the bathroom or do you have to take your own. If taking your own, what kind of adaptors are required for an English plug.
Thanks so much

No, hair dryers are not NORMALLY supplied.
Wife takes her own and we have just used our ordinary EU two pin plug adaptors which seem to work OK
Adaptors are available there for a few pence.

Hi, some hotels have hairdriers at reception, we went to Pheonix Park and they lent me one with no charge, so maybe where you are going will do the same.

                Hi
Hairdryers and all electric items work ok the same as at home.
The two pin adaptors work, but last year mine kept falling out of the socket which was most annoying when trying to dry my hair. I was speaking to a man on the beach who had a house in Goa and he said that I could buy a three pin one which wouldn't keep falling out of socket.
Only about 20p and worked much better.
