Guess we must have same taste Kev, we are looking at Ithaca for next year, and if I remember rightly you were are Zefi around the same times as us last year. You`ll have to let me know what Ithacas like.

just returned from ithaka, we went with kosmar and stayed at livanis studios in vathy ,lovely rooms with aircon and fans ,nice large sitting room with t.v and sea views form balcony. ithaka is a lovely island quite hilly and all the beaches are pebble,vathy is nice without to much tourism but still enough tavernas and bars to keep you going for 2 weeks.
the transfer over to ithaka :if you land a.m you should be able to get over on the 2.30pm ferry from sami but if you land p.m you will be taken to lassi until 10.00 p.m then taken to sami to get the 11.30 ferry to vathy and that takes 1.30 hrs so you wont get to ithaka until 1a.m.
return transfers, all flights (even the 9.50 pm flight) will be taken off on the 7 a.m ferry and then taken over to lassi until 2 hours before your flight then taken to the airport.
if anybody was going to do a 2 centre holiday do ithaka first then the transfer back should be easy.
