Hi all,
I hope someone can help me

I know that this subject has probably been broached before but i'm trying to book internal flights for this December; we fly into Mumbai on the 26th of Decemeber and leave Mumbai again on the 14th of January.
I've done research on the net and i can only find Air Deccan that fly out of Goa in the morning on a Sunday but i dont seem to be able to book over the net with them, so my questions are:
1) Has any one used them before?
2) Are they OK?
3) How did you book yours?
4) Any one else got any other suggestions
5)HELP!!!!!!!, i want to know that it is done, especially as it's going to be flying down on boxing day.

any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jayne,

The Air Deccan Website does not allow you to book so far in advance, and thats your only problem.

The problem with Air Deccan is they fail to keep to the flight time. If you looking at a connecting international flight i would not fly them. Also being a budget airline you are allowed only 15 kgs per person. Indian Airlines as far as i know does have a flight at 5.45 am from bombay every day so it might be worth checking them out specially since they give you 30 kgs weight, its an Airbus against a 49 seater ATR of Deccan and the price is about the same !!

I've just tried them as well, but after registering with them, they informed me that you can only book 90 days in advance, so i've sent them an e.mail with the times and dates.
The times i'm looking at are around 2pm as we should arrive in Mumbai at 11.40am on the 26th of December and depart Mumbai at 13.10pm on the 14th of January.
any further hints and tips yourself or anyone can give us would be appreciated.

Jayne,

It might be worthwhile to note that there are no flights allowed between 9am and 1pm at the Dabolim airport.
Here is what i know .
3 flights in the a.m i.e Air Deccan 7.10am, Jet Airways 6.30 am (except sunday) and Indian 5.45am
1st flight leaving bombay 12.00 .. Air Sahara, Kingfisher 12.45 , Indian Airlines 1.10pm and the list goes on. Last flight out 3.40 Air Deccan.

From Goa last flight out at 5.10pm Air Deccan.
