I think I went to these apartments many years ago.
Are they in Areias Sao Joao?
If so, you are right on the doorstep of the strip but the apartments are quiet enough,
So if it's the same ones you are surrounded by pubs and restaurants.....no need to worry.

we are staying at these apartmenta fist two weeks in september its are first time to Albufeira i will post a report on our return . I belive they are near the strip but in a quiet location

If you could do that for us that would be of a great help.
Also if you could let us know good Pubs and place to eat
