Hi. I am new to this forum but admit to reading the topics for hours at the weekend! Me and my hubby are going to the Dona Sylvia for two weeks 27 Nov 2006. Please can anyone tell me what type of dishes they serve on the buffet for evening/lunch? We are intending to eat out most of the time but I am curious as to what they serve in the hotel! Didn't really want AI but did want the hotel as I understand it is in a great location. Also I want to pick up a few designer (style) handbags pref Chloe - are these available nearby?

You can buy handbags [and shoes] galore, not sure about Chloe,but most other copies, I usually limit my self to 5 or 10 per trip, plus a few pairs of shoes. Heaven.

Hi Miss Redd I don't think you will want to use the all inclusive much as there are so many great (and cheap) places to eat in Goa!! welcome to the forum by the way its a great and friendly place

Hi do you mean the Chloe bag with the padlock and key? because if you do, i never saw one when i was there in March, i was recently bought one and was going to take it next time i go to see if they could copy it, if you take a picture of one i,m sure they would have a go at making you one 
dona silvia is good you can have the best of both worlds eat in when there is something you like on the menu or eat out when not its just so cheap to eat and drink over there.

i bought a chloe paddington bag in march payed £16 for it ,on main road towards sinquriem beach , did not end up with it though daughter taxed it when we got home
There are some fantastic restaurants around the D.S. There is also a genuine designer store just opposite the D.S. as well as lots of stalls and sellars selling genuine fakes 
I stopped at the Donal Sylvia a couple of Xmas's ago - me and the kids loved it - really friendly staff and free honeybee!!!! We got fed up of the food pretty quickly but there's some good restaurants around which we enjoyed eating in. Enjoy.
Thank you for your help! We can't wait to go - 12 weeks on Monday. Dying to try the infamous honeybee too!
