Me and my girlfriend are going out for a long weekend to see some family but wondered where there will be any sort of nightlife on the island (if any)
Being 22 i doute i will want to find some pubs of some sort lol.
We are staying in a small village right near san clemente (cant remember whats its called off hand)
I read there is a waterpark and go-kart trak next to each other on the island, will they still be open?
Hi, I've just got back from working in Menorca. To be honest there isn't that much of a nightlife there, unless you go to the capital (Mahon), but it will be mainly Spanish who are there as Mahon is a bit out of the way from a lot of resorts. Theres also Calan Forcat/Blanes which is quite good, there are 3 nightclubs and loads of bars to choose from, thats on the west coast just past Ciutadella. To be totally honest though it's not really a 20 somethings resort, mainly families and older couples, plus it's October, so I'ts really quiet at the moment anyway, although there are still alot of reps about and Calan Forcat/Blanes is where they all go. Get a taxi and ask for Blue Breeze or Cheers (Not until 1 o clockish thoguh else they're empty.
Enjoy your Holiday

Hi,it sounds as if you are staying in Cala'n Porter. If so, you will enjoy the Night Club at `Cova den Xoroi' known locally as 'The Caves' There are also several Bars and Resturants which cater (music wise!) for young people in C.Porter.
In San Clemente there is the weekly jazz session at Bar Casino, which is very popular with locals and tourists.
I'm told that the 'in places' are to be found along Mahon Harbour, especially near Estacion Maritimo, which is where the Ferries and Cruise Liners moor.
Have a great holiday, the weather is still fine.

Hi Again,
Apologies, hadn't read your second post. An excellent centre for Water Sports is S'Algar Diving Club. Not far from San Clemente, as the 'crow flies' Unless you've won the 'Euro Lottery' I don't advise you hopping into a taxi to pursue the night life at the other end of the Island. Especially on a Saturday night !!
