I've booked a hotel over the internet with Freedom Direct. I printed off the confirmation and they emailed me further confirmation and a voucher. I'm just a little anxious as i've tried to look at my booking on the website by typing in my reference number but it just keeps saying error try later. I'm going to phone them but wondered if anyone else had experienced this.
Also might sound a daft question - not booked this way before - but do i just present the voucher at the hotel, is this sufficient or do they post documentation out as well. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Although I have never booked with Freedom Direct it is the norm with such as Winter Sunshine, Travel Republic just to present the accommodation voucher issued from the website and (the two I mention do not send anything through the post) .to the reception of your hotel or apartment. I have never experienced any problem at all always getting what I paid for and on the rare occassion more.
Perhaps by now you have been able to check your reservation via the ref no you were issued with.
Try not to worry, everything will be fine, just have a lovely holiday.

I've just booked with Freedom Direct for the first time as well.
I have paid a deposit and was just wondering if they send out a reminder for the balance?

If you paid by credit or debit card most accomodation providers will deuct the balance on the due date unless of course you paid it before.
As I said earlier I have never booked with Freedom Direct so don't really know about them but they do seem similar to the others.

Sorry i don't really know as i booked in full at the time. You could try phoning and i think there might be some info on this under their booking conditions. Hope this is of some help. Enjoy your holiday

                I booked with Alpharooms for this years holiday and we only got a printed accommodation voucher, we had no problems at all, in fact when we arrived at our apartments they didn't even look at the voucher we only gave them our name and that was it, it was brilliant.
I paid a deposit with Alpharooms at the time of booking and it just states on their website that you have to pay the balance 5 weeks before departure, I actually forgot about it and was few days late paying off the balance but they were fine, I don't think they chase for the final balance though I'm not sure on Freedom Direct.
