Can anyone tell me if the age restriction for teenagers applies to all tour operators.
My daughter who will be age 17 next summer wants to travel to Skiathos with three friends but the rules state that at least one person must be 18 or over. Is this a rule that is strictly kept to ? Has anyone had experience of the same problem ? It does seem unfair that four responsible 17 yr olds cant book a holiday together. Any advice appreciated.
Some tour operators do allow all under 18's to travel but they would all need a letter from parents/guardians giving them permission to travel and one parent would need to sign the booking form. Thomas cook and first choice I know definatly would allow them to travel. Most of the others you need to have at least one 18year old on the booking. As dates of birth are on passports I probably wouldnt risk them booking and being refused travel.
