We don't fancy hiring a car to get to Gandia (parking etc) so could anybody point us in the right direction for the easiest way to get there using the bus or train?

A bus service runs from Avde. Europa, 6.70 one way, 12.75 euros return. The frequency and duration of the trip seem to vary depending on the day!

The bus would be more straightforward as the train line ends at Denia, which would mean getting a bus from Denia to Gandia. The train and bus stations in Denia are five mins walking distance apart, should you consider travelling part way by train.
Either way, it is going to take a couple of hours min. By car, it would be about an hour.
