Well I would say Playa Den Bossa is better for you as is it's closer to Ibiza Town.....walking distance if you like a long walk!
Some will say San Antonio as it has 2 clubs there and the *west end* and also the sunset strip. It really depends what you're looking for.

Wherever you are on Ibiza you can travel quite easily to where you need to be. There is a night bus enabling you to get to the the clubs so it shouldn't be a problem.

As above, Ive done both and there are pros and cons to both sides, playa den bossa is a bit featureless with a just a string of hotels along the beach but it 'reasonably' close to ibiza town although would fancy walking it,

Both resorts have an element of youth and family orientated attraction although i would have to say that i find playa den bossa similar to any other spanish resort.

As the above poster has said, no matter where you stay there are regular bus services to and from each resort

Having frequented both resorts on several occasions guys....

Would have to say Playa Den Bossa is the better choice, you have the advantage of Ibiza Town being just down the road (DON"T WALK IT!)
Also you will find Bossa far more cosmopolitan than San An, far less young Brits off their faces on cheap beer, and a better mix of nationalities.

Londonexiles your spot on with what you say.mind you the walk to town is nice via fig.plus nearer formentera for a good day out.nearer airport/space. dc 10/.bora bora beach bar.
san an is well worth a day out/night out.best to catch the sunset .then head off for some good fun in the west end bars.then go to a club.taxi back to playa is about 30 euros say at night plus tip.

thank you all for your input we have decided to stay in Playa Den Bossa. now we need a place to stay where is a good hotel/apartment/villa that will hold 5 party guys? thnx in advance
