My friend is very flexible, and is looking for a week in the sun (Beach holiday) to:
Resort: Majorca (Any Beach destination)
Dates: Any between Aug 25th - Sept 1st (Outbound)
Board: Any (Half board preffered)
Up to now, I have got the deal for as low as about £720 (familly of 3 Single mum, 15 year old daughter, 9 year old son), by using various methods. Can anybody help further by suggesting ways of getting this cheaper. I'm not being lazy and asking people to do it for me, I'm just being clever and utilising this site to it's capabilities. It worked for me a couple of times before, so I'll try again here. I've also posted this in other destination forums. Thanks all.
Do you have any Tesco clubcardpoints hanging around? If so go to xl.com, check out the deals available and your tesco clubcard points are worth 4 times the amount when cashed in. We go next week to Cala Egos, near Cala D'Or, All inclusive for me and the wife, got £320 off the price with the points and its cost us £236 each!

Not being fly or anything but all you have to do is miss out the travel agent and that'll save you money. We book direct everytime now and save money on comparable brochure deals. Try the Vista Badia in Sa Coma, ideal for a family of your size and has a superb beach. It is on the Pro Tour website and is also in the Thomson Brochure, compare the price by pricing your own flights and transfer, I think you will be surprised with the amount you can save.
Thomson has a massive sale right now for flights. I booked £141.00 inc taxes for my daughter and I, LGW dept 22.08.07 for 14 nights. Unfortunately she will have to miss the first day of school in september as it worked out so much cheaper to come back on tuesday instead of sunday.

A hotel I have stayed in several times in Cala Bona - the Hotel Moreyo would work out at £265 for the three of them for one week from September 1st (half board) through Medhotels (this can be reduced a further ten per cent if you know the promo code which I have seen on another post on one of these boards 
).
Of course they would then have flights (not sure where they want to fly from so couldn't check those out) and transfers to take into consideration.
