I haven't stayed there, but while I was on holiday in June this year, a couple used to come into our apartments for a drink in the afternoon who stayed at the Private Hotel, they said that they loved it because there were no kids there. I dont know if there were no kids allowed, or whether it was just a coincidence at the time.

This was a couple in their late 60's and they said it was kept very quiet, especially in the evenings. They go there every year.

Hope this helps a little. Even if its not to your taste, its only a place to put your head down at night, and if its a bargan at the moment, I would jump at the offer.

Ive never stayed but from what ive heard its good a little older but just as clean and the pool area is massive compared to the devamli

I have just had a phone call from a friend who is going to the Private hotel 1 week before us for 2 weeks,so her 2nd week will be our 1st.She went there 15 years ago and said it was OK then.
Thanks for your replies ,and I feel happy about going now,especially as it has only cost £329 for 2 weeks,not much more than a cost of a flight

my pal is just back today they said basic but clean they have book for next year same hotel they loved there holiday there

Hi there I stayed at the Private Hotel last June.I was on my own as my friend had to call off due to a family illness. The staff were wonderful, the hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and my room maid was just a gem Everyone made me feel so welcome as this was my first visit to Turkey and it certainly will not be my last!!! full marks to the Private Hotel and Icmeler.
