As for the food well the choice is vast and everyone has their own favourites. We like the Pines, Socrates and Gallieria (sp). Our favourite bar afterwards would be Vetos for cocktails and Mythos draught . All of these are on or just off the main street. The best takeaway sandwich is also at Vetos called the village roll stuffed with olives, feta and salad mmmmm nice.

There are so many good tavernas and restaurants in Skala it is honestly just a case of trying them yourself. They are all generally very good. I agree with don, the Galera has to be one of the best in Skala and Socrates is also excellent. The restaurant at the nine muses is also very good. I would reccommend you try some of the restaurants off the main street. They are very good value and more "traditional"
