Mmmm.... I thought it was a spelling mistake as I had never heard of Mastero, so I tried that. Then it said that card number was 2 digits short so I assumed it was some other card with 18 digits. Last November I think I just clicked on Switch and it went through OK. Will try options when I book next.

That's strange, I used my Maestro card today without a hitch.
Maybe it was something with their website at the time I booked. Will try it again for next flight.

I've tried to do online check in for my weekend flights from East Midlands to Madrid but the system won't let me.
Anyone know whether online check in is usually available for these airports? I'm wondering if it's worth me keep trying or forget it now?

I see they have now corrected spelling on Maestro. Booked flights this morning and all went through very quickly. Got 3 1p ones and 1 for about £5 so all 4 flights only cost me £13 including card charges. Brilliant - an extra trip to visit my mother in Sweden. Just have to book trains etc. and the whole journey will cost about £35 whereas I would normally have to pay between £250-350. I hope it all works out now. I only have 1 1/2 hours to change flights in Stansted so if delayed I might be stuck there but hey.......... I cannot complain. I'll just buy another flight or bus ticket.

Just tried to check in online but don't have passports with me so only got to page where you put in document details. Will make sure I have them tomorrow. Return flight on Tuesday was showing though. The system looks easy enough to navigate which is good. have ahd to rethink bags we're using though as our small trolley case is just over the maximum on one of the dimensions (wheels make it 22cms deep). It's nopt a problem as I'll put hubby's shoes in my bag. He's got a 25l backpack which Aer Lingus allowed for hand luggage when we went to Portugal 3 weeks ago. My 35l is within the dimensions although I've got to be careful so that it's not more than 20cms deep.
I've never used the Ryanair site before, but I just tried to find flights from Edinburgh to Alicante for New Year and nothing came up even though I tried a week either side of my dates.

Winter 08/09 flights won't be released until July I think it is.
I've just done online check in for flights on Sunday and Tuesday. It's really easy to do. Just need to pack now. That'll be done tomorrow.

Hi Cate, when i flew to Knock a fortnight ago nobody even looked at the size of handluggage either at Bristol or Knock. With on line check in and priority boarding they just called us up and ushered us through. I think if i was to measure my case it would be slightly too big, but it did fit in the overhead space okay.Maggie
Looks like the website has crashed tonight ................
I can get the website up, but when I try to book a flight I get timed out .......... say after an unresponsive wait of 10 mins ............ oh well there's always tomorrow!
And tomorrow was another day .......... managed to book my ticket, and the fare had come down by 20€ for the round trip (before taxes of course, but then you can't have everything, especially with Ryanair!!).
Travelled with Ryan Air at the weekend with hand luggage only and used web check in. Went very smoothly and we've decided to do it again in the summer.
I've misplaced the booking reference number for our trip in June.
Has anybody has any experience retrieving this number? I noticed that Ryanair doesn't do emails (can't find an email address anywhere).
