Hullo,
My first post - how excitin!!
My partner and I, and another couple, are all going to the Sirenis Holiday Palace on the 5th June for 1 week.
I have searched high and low for decent pictures and can only find the ones on the travel agent websites. Anyone know where I can find any more pics?
Also, can anyone confirm whether the works have now finished?
And finally...would anyone like to hazard a guess as to how busy the resort will be the week we go? Know it has been opened for less than a year, so may be a bit of a silly question!!
Thanks a lot.
There was a thread on Holiday Palace I am at work so dont have time at the moment to look back.
This is up a steep hill from the Holiday Village so maybe have a look at that because they share the beach club.
Carol
Thanks Carol Will have a wee look.
If you didnt find anything out let me know and I will look back as am free for the evening.

Have you looked at the reviews from last year? I was there in August last year and it was a very low key resort, not much going on, dont know if it will be different this year.
Yeah, have looked at the reviews from last year under the hotel reviews section.
The Sirenis Holiday Palace is a superb new complex on the old main road between Benalmadena and Fuengirola but nearer Benalmadena.
It is situated on the beach. It has been finished for a while now.
The resort will be just starting to get busy after the winter golfing season so it should be about perfect for you. You will need a car though as is always the case with these hotels, they are positioned away from local amenities so you use theirs!!! The train is next to hotel but not sure where station is but its worth a trip on it into Malaga for the day.
Tons to do in this area with a car and make sure you visit Mijas village in the mountains.
If you click onto google in your computer and type in Sirenis Holiday Palace, the hotel comes up with some nice pictures.
Hope you enjoy the trip.
Thanks Danazcurt
Danazcurt - I dont think you can describe this hotel as being "situated on the beach".
the hotel accomodation is on the inland side of the coastal road with the pools and other facilities on the beach side. Is that correct? I know it is slightly high up but it is still beachside as opposed to these hotels which say beach hotel and they are a couple of miles away. Sorry if info slightly out.
Back over on Tuesday so will check it out.
I think what Sunbedqueen said was correct what you may have meant was that it is close to the sea. (Which it is) However it is a fair distance to an actual beach.

im going on my hols in june im staying at the holiday palace i am taking my family which is my husband and 3 girls aged 7,6 and 2 so i will be having to use a pushchair.im getting worried about this hill everyone is pipping about, can anyone tell me is it really all that bad.do i need to hire a car.
Gemzy, do you mean the Benalmadena Palace? if so we stayed there and had two kids with us 5 & 3 and to be fair there is a steep hill leading up to the place, but it is quite short, and you can avoid the steepest part by going in via the underground parking area which is about halfway up the hill and getting the lifts up from there. So unless you are really unfit or the kids are built like the front row of a rugby scrum, you shouldn't have any real problems, and no you won't need a car
Hi, or do you mean holiday villiage?
If you can post to clarify where you're staying, I'll merge this with the appropriate thread, you'll get a better response then
