As my friend says they are provided, at reception you will receive a towel card, take it with you to hand into the guy where the towel man is around the pool or the entrance to the beach. At the end of your stay at the pool/beach hand the towel back, then they hand you the card back. No card, no towel.
Have a great holiday, so far off this site and trip advisor who pm me, i have 20 people going this year, i hope to god you all like it, else i will be in hiding

I have to say I am a bit envious of you both, Mrs. Kiltie & I have decided to go somewhere for a week at the end of May. Sharm I thought, the Sonesta Beach thinks I, checks prices and will have to give it a miss, £1230 for a week is tooooooo much
As discussed elsewhere on HT the holiday prices are just stupid now, so it won't be back to the Sonesta Beach this time.

Thanks soo much for the replies guys, I dont really take too much notice of Trip advisor, I tust the opinions on here much more.

Just got back from SBR - will be posting a hotel review shortly!

to Michelle for her advice and help before we went - made our stay even more special 
Suffice to say we'd go back (which is unusual for us.....) - anyone going will have a great time!

Just had a thought for all you lucky beggars going to "MY" hotel this week, a little tip. At check in, ask for 2 keys instead of the usual one. Then if it is hot or you want A\C on, leave the key in the unit on the wall. If for some reason they wont give you one, fold up a piece of card board and put it in the slot. House-keeping will do this for you, they showed us how to do it. Now tho we have the extra key.

We paid about £1300 - 1400 cannot remember without looking for 2. Saying that it is always cheaper to go 2 weeks. Novotel and sofitel are more or less next to SBR, i dont think they are always A1?

We got back last Friday but unfortunately I was quite ill for a couple of days there and never really shook it off so it kinda ruined things for us. Still felt really bad for a few days once we got home but pleased to say back to normal again and needing a holiday

I'm actually really gutted we aren't going here in November

we are planning on going just round the corner to the Interplaza and the reason is simple
We can get the Interplaza for 10 nights for £500 each
but the cheapest we can get Sonesta for is £750 each

Hi Lyn, sorry to hear you were poorly, my mum and daughter were poorly as you know, still hasnt put her going again maybe in the future. We have decided Sonesta beach is a winter destination for us now, fed up of having picks in my bum 
At least winter time you dont seem to get it.
SBR have noticed how many people i send to their hotel and have upgraded me now to the EXECUTIVE room free of charge Also people write to me on TA, so it all comes in handy. Cannot wait to go back.
