If still in Candolim I hope that they have sharpened up since last season, really poor compared to how it used to be.
Might give it another try this year but too many good places to settle for second best.

Where have you heard of the Baga move from toondug ? Always been a decent place for whatever meal they offered. Last year was steady most nights we passed (same everywhere I suppose).
The American chef did move on, but same menu and quality as usual.

Bistro is still there, same chef and owners. Brilliant as ever.

Was in the Bistro last week as staying at the Sunset. Sadly let down when they failed to bring my wife's starter and then after letting that go her main meal. The Manageress couldn't have been more apologetic offering free meal but the damage had been done and we left. Had to say the squid starter was excellent and my steak looked superb so it was probably just a minor blip but we never returned.

Plenty of other places to eat.
