Just a bit of help needed really. We're planning to have 2 weeks in Taba the beginning of March and hope to do some diving, a night in Cairo and a day in Petra.
We're pretty much down to the Sofitel and Radisson and I just wanted to know, whether in your opinion, the Sofitel is worth the bit extra?
Also - I'm guessing the flights get booked up so it is advisable to book now rather than wait for a bargain that may never come?

The Sofitel was next door to where we stayed. Yes..I feel it is worth the extra. Lovely location, lovely views, own bit of private beach..I would choose there.
Hi we stayed at the sofitel in april 07 and absolutely loved it. Tried Sharm this May and although the hotel was lovely (Reef Oasis Blue Bay) we definitely prefer Taba. We've just booked to go back to the Sofitel in April 09 and got a good deal with Portland Holidays.
