This may appear to be a rather stupid question but bear with me as i have had consistantly bad luck regarding taxis over the last 4 years, in the UK i stress!
We will be in Luz this new years eve and may want to travel to lagos or somewhere nearby, how easy/available are taxis especialy after midnight
in the Lagos area?

You could try booking through one of the companies that does airport transfers? You would probably have to pay through the nose, and decide when and were you want to be picked up from in advance, but it's better than getting stuck...

Yes but driving in the early hours of 1st January can be bad for your wallet if stopped by the GNR.
