I`m on Thomas cook TCX2624 from Manchester. On my latest invoice ( and I`ve had loads of amendments) it states it is at 13.00 . However the manchester airport site http://www.manchesterairport.co.uk/MANFlightInfo/SearchFlights states that thomas cook on thursdays is at 0900,
Can anyone confirm what my flight time is please.

Hi, I saw the question re flights to Preveza and in the past have flown on a 757. We are flying out their in August and have been offered a seating arrangement 2-3-2 at or near the rear. Can anybody tell me what aircraft it is and do they change the type of aircraft at different times of the year. Thanks.
I wouldn't rely on airports flight schedules as they are generally given to the airport once the airline have sorted their schedules well in advance and often don't take in to account any subsequant changes for the rest of the season. Go off the latest time Thomas Cook have given you and the one printed on your tickets when you get them.
Darren
Welcome onbaord

Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are several flight to Preveza. This ensure we get the corect information for you. If the aircraft is configured 2-3-2 on the last7 rows, it's an Airbus A330-200. You'll find fruther aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Booking will be locked for 30 minutes - please try again later
what?!
I am seriously losing patience with their website. If I just turn up at the airport are they going to moan about me not doing api?
API can be taken at check-in if you don't manage to do it online, however Turkey is listed as being required prior to travel. When are you travelling? API can only be submitted greater than 4 days from when the booking was made and within 28 days of departure. If you are travelling within the next 7 days, API will need to be completed at check in.

Does anybody know if Thomas cook have changed their policy on collectiong API? I entered my details only last week but being paranoid I just wanted to check that everything was ok so I logged in again earlier. The page for entering API was different and it listed a few countries for where they needed to collect API but it said that all the rest including Zante (which is where we're going) would be collected at the airport
I wonder if anybody has any info on this please?
There's not been any change that I'm aware of, just clarification. Unless you're travelling to one of the listed countries (USA, Goa, Banjul, Turkey, Reus and Almeria), it can be taken at the airport when checking-in.
Darren
Thanks Dazbo. Just wandering why it wanted ours in advance when Zante isn't listed. As I said I entered the info a couple of weeks ago as did my sister but when I tried entering it again yesterday to see what would happen it said I couldn't do it because it would be taken at the airport- odd!
All the problems with Thomas Cook Airlines web site are well documented on the internet any Thomas Cook Airlines Executive reading why don"t you make a place for passport details (if the person booking holds one at the time) on the online booking form!!!!.Also when booking a holiday at the travel agent or online make the same provision all done API collected. This is only for Thomas Cook as it seems all other companies don"t have the same issues.
I have today added our API using the Thomas Cook Ailines website rather than the Thomas Cook brochure website , as when i tried using that it wouldn't allow saying API would be collected at airport
We are flying to Sharm El Sheikh on the the 3rd of September from Manchester(TCX 2562 Dept 14.45 arrive 21.15) looking at the flight timings it is showing a 6.5hr flight as Egypt is only 1hr ahead of the UK,i was always under the impression that Sharm was a 5.5hr flight. Can anyone shed some light on this????? You can reach Qatar in 6.5hrs from Manchester.
They are 2 hours ahead of the UK in Sharm at the moment so the flight times are correct with a flight time of 5 hours or so outbound and slightly longer inbound depending on the weather (wind) on the day.
Darren
http://www.worldtimezone.com/time/wtzresult.php?CiID=41737&forma=) as Egypt has not changed there clocks this year??
Hi Darren i belive its only 1hr (It was showing as an hour later when I checked! Regardless of the clock changes, the flight distance is 2,555 miles. The 757-200 will cruise with a ground speed of ~500mph or so subject to the wind so the outbound flight time is approximately 5 hours, 5.5 at the most. I was in Luxor in just over that, and that's 200 miles further!
Darren
Thank you Darren i will check with the airline nearer the time as we wish to book taxis.
Would you be able to confirm where our flight will be flying to prior to operating our flight?
Think it's an A320.
13th June, LGW-AYT, TCX1526.
Thanks!
